A 12-bay modular classroom block delivered before the autumn term to ease pressure on a growing secondary school in the Midlands.
A growing multi-academy trust needed an additional 12 teaching spaces on a busy UK secondary school site, with the new accommodation ready before the autumn term. Traditional construction would have taken three terms and disrupted exam classes, so the trust looked at modular construction.
Working closely with the trust's estates team, we designed a two-storey modular classroom block with breakout space, accessible WCs and a lift. The whole structure was manufactured off-site in our factory in parallel with site groundworks and craned into position over the summer holidays.

Doors opened on day one of the autumn term, on programme and on budget. Pupils benefited from larger, brighter classrooms, and noise complaints from neighbouring teaching blocks dropped to zero.
