A local authority needed to expand provision for pupils with special educational needs (SEN) by 90 places. The new hub had to feel calm with quiet rooms throughout.
We delivered a single-storey modular building with five classrooms, a soft-play hall, sensory room, calm-down rooms, accessible hygiene rooms with hoists and a sheltered outdoor play deck. Acoustic performance was tuned at the factory stage.

The hub opened in time for the new academic year, providing 90 SEN places. Staff reported a noticeable reduction in pupil escalations within the first six weeks.
