A UK public sector body needed an operations centre on the ground within two weeks for a multi-agency response. The footprint had to include command room, comms suite, briefing area, briefing screens and 24-hour welfare.
From our hire fleet we configured a 14-cabin linked complex with pre-installed comms cabling, raised access flooring, briefing screens and back-up generators. We used standard prefabrication techniques to hit the deadline.
This is core to our government and defence modular building capability and our hire service.
The ops centre was operational nine days after request, with all comms, power and welfare commissioned. The complex can be re-deployed at end of hire.
